Twin Cities World Refugee Day 2008

Limited parking is available on the streets around the park (free), and in park lots (starting at $0.50/hour).

The Light Rail Transit Hiawatha Line stops right at the park!

Use the 50th Street/Minnehaha Park stop. View a complete train schedule here. From this stop, the park is a short walk northeast, across Hiawatha Avenue.

Fares are $1.50, and $2.00 during rush hour (3:30-6pm), and your ticket is good for 2 ½ hours. You can buy a ticket at any light rail station – if you need instructions, click here.

 Twin Cities World Refugee Day is an event planned by a committee of representatives from a variety of refugee-serving organizations in the Twin Cities.
The fiscal agent for the 2008 event is Minnesota International Health Volunteers.
