Twin Cities World Refugee Day is made possible by our volunteer planning committee members, the hands-on work of our day-of festival volunteers, the commitment and resources from our collaborating partners, and lots and lots of heart.

It’s a family-oriented day of celebration that highlights the stories, arts, and cultures of the thousands of refugees in Minnesota.

Putting on an all-day event requires a lot of heart, hard work, and yes - - funding!

We aim to be equitable and accessible in as many ways as we can and some of those areas are in being able to provide a free public event, affordable food, free activities for the entire family, bus shuttles, and honorariums for the 30+ refugee artists performing on the cultural stage.
