Resource Fair
In addition to celebrating the cultures and experiences of Minnesotan refugees, Twin Cities World Refugee Day highlights local organizations dedicated to providing opportunities and improving quality of life for immigrant and refugee communities. We invite such organizations to join us in the celebration as a Resource Fair participant. This year’s resource fair participants include:
Doctors Without Borders
American Relief Agency for the Horn of Africa
Lutheran Social Service
Council on American-Islamic Relations
Jewish Family and Children’s Services of Minneapolis
The Center for Victims of Torture
HAP
Karen Organization of Minnesota
Dream Refugee
American Red Cross
and many more!
We will provide organizations with a table and two chairs. Orgs will need to bring their own tent or canopy, if they wish to have one. We encourage organizations to send two or three representatives so they can meet with attendees, and also have time to explore the rest of the event. More than 40 refugee-serving organizations and over 2,000 community members are expected to attend, and we wouldn’t want you to miss out!
